What is SpinConvert?
SpinConvert lets ecommerce stores run spin-to-win campaigns. Visitors enter their email for a chance to win a discount or reward, so you capture leads and encourage purchases while measuring how your campaign performs.
Which ecommerce platforms does it work with?
SpinConvert works on any website where you can add a script tag, including Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix and Squarespace. You paste one line of code and the wheel appears on your store.
How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days to build and publish a real campaign on your store. No credit card is required to start. Before the trial ends you can choose a plan to keep your campaigns running.
Can visitors cheat the wheel?
No. The prize is decided securely on our servers, never in the visitor's browser, and each email address can only spin once per campaign. A bot check helps keep fake entries out of your lead list.
What do I see in the analytics?
For each campaign you see impressions, wheel opens, spins, leads captured and rewards redeemed, with conversion rates between each step. SpinConvert does not claim to measure your sales or revenue unless reliable order data is available.
How are discount codes delivered?
When a visitor wins, the code is shown instantly so they can copy it into your checkout. You can use one store-wide code, or have SpinConvert generate a unique code for every winner.
Can I control the odds of each prize?
Yes. You set a weight for every slice, so you decide how often each reward is won. You can also include "try again" slices and cap how many times a prize can be given away.
Will the wheel slow down my store?
The widget is a small script served from a global CDN and loads asynchronously, so it does not block your pages from rendering.
Can I export the leads I collect?
Yes. You can view leads in your dashboard and export them as a CSV file to import into your email marketing tool.
Is it GDPR friendly?
The form includes a consent checkbox with text you control, and we only store the details visitors choose to submit. You can export or delete leads at any time.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Plans are billed monthly and you can cancel from your billing settings whenever you like. Your campaigns stop showing at the end of the paid period.
Do I need a developer to install it?
No. Copy one snippet from your dashboard into your store theme (or a "custom code" setting), then click "Verify installation". Step-by-step instructions are included for each platform.
